Food, Fuel & Other Essentials

Our lodges are situated in three different areas and so we have detailed some of the most convenient shops and services accordingly in the information below.

Shops and Services for Corrievarkie Lodge in West Perthshire

Corrievarkie is situated in a remote location, and so it is sensible to make sure your vehicle fuel tank is not running low when you arrive at the lodge, as it is 41 miles to the nearest petrol/diesel station in Aberfeldy. Equally, it is a good idea to make sure that you make a list of provisions before you shop, as it is 21 miles to the nearest store for basics should you forget the milk for example. Aberfeldy is the nearest town for larger supermarkets, fuel for your car and a range of other shops and restaurants.

Shops and Services for Dalnaspidal Lodge in North Perthshire

Dalnaspidal is situated in north Perthshire and so is roughly equidistant between the shops and facilities in the village of Newtonmore to the north and the town of Pitlochry to the south. Pitlochry has a larger choice of shops and restaurants etc.

Shops and Services for An-Tochailt Lodge and the Gate Lodge in Inverness-shire

An-Tochailt and Gate Lodge are situated near to Dalwhinnie and north to The shops and facilities of Newtonmore and Kingussie. Aviemore, a further 9 miles further north from Kingussie has a wider range of shops, and restaurants.
