Castles, Gardens and Historical Sites
Scotland is bursting with castles and historic buildings, ranging from fascinating ruins to well-preserved gems set in dramatic landscapes, and many of these places have beautiful gardens. Alternatively, you may choose to visit one of Scotland’s beautiful coastal gardens warmed by the Gulf Stream, creating an almost subtropical climate that allows plants that are rarely seen in the UK to grow and thrive there.
Blair Castle has been the home of the Atholl family for over seven centuries. Incredible collections of furniture, arms, china, lace and portraits and more.

The simple act of going for a walk together in a beautiful rural setting, and just taking in what is around you can be a magical experience. To add some variety to your stay there are some great child-friendly, fun-filled and memorable visits for the whole family to enjoy. Hand-feeding Reindeer in a mountain environment but just a few minutes walk from the car, making a splash at the end of a water slide, finding your way along a treetop walk or adventure course, whizzing down a zipline or a forest rollercoaster, or watching the antics of snow monkeys are just a few examples of what you can do with family and friends.
We have put together a few examples to help you plan your stay.
