Corrievarkie Lodge, built in the 1860s, is set in a gloriously and remote location on the southern shores of beautiful Loch Ericht. Calm and solitude are assured for guests staying in this comfortable and welcoming lodge. Spectacular views can be enjoyed from Corrievarkie over the loch to the rugged slopes of magnificent Ben Alder.
The lodge is the perfect choice for large parties to relax and unwind, with the opportunity to go for low level walks along the shoreline, for hill walking, or fishing. Sporting activities can be arranged by the estate, on request. Alternatively, guests can spend time exploring rural Perthshire. The serene glens, endless expanses of lush forest, bleakly beautiful moors, and rushing rivers with tumbling waterfalls are probably why Sir Walter Scott aptly named the region “The fairest portion of the northern kingdom.”
Due to the remote location and winter conditions, which can affect access, Corrievarkie Lodge is only bookable from the beginning of May through to the end of October each year.
